So many times I have stood in the shop (or outside it for that matter) and listened to customers and 'well wishers' tell tales of woeful internet customer service from their ISP. Long wait queues, multi departments, different information, bad line connections and poor and incomprehensible english through thick accents from overseas call centres. So many times this occurred and I thought to myself if I should tell the customer that we offer internet services. I've finally had enough and have decided that if the general population of Australia have this issue then they will vote with their feet. Little do most customers know that we offer these services and have since around april 2006. It is a main part of our operations. Topping this off I have experience in the industry both wholesale and retail for many years prior to that and still have an ongoing foot in the door performing work with a large east-coast internet and telecommunications wholesaler. So this is the end of my wondering. I will be advertising our internet services in the local area, mentioning it customers and 'well wishers'. There are quality services available to you, such as ours. You do not need to put up with this crap any longer. iZIP internet prices certainly are not the cheapest but they certainly are not the most expensive. This is the end of department hoping. The end of telephone wait queues. The end of support staff you cannot understand who read scripted responses. The time has now come to shit or get off the pot. An internet service provider where you can actually go to a physical location, walk through a door and speak to a person who actually cares about your account and your service. We are trying to make this whole process as transparent and flawless as possible. No contracts. Month by month services.
